Description
The Depth Tracking System is designed to use the rotation of the drawworks to monitor the block position. With input from the weight indicator, the system translates block position into progressive hole depth. This information is output via WITS (Wellsite Information Transfer Standard) to a computer used for logging drilling and geological information.
